Soyinka bags Ph.D in Mass Communication

A faculty member at the Department of Mass Communication, College of Humanities, Social & Management Sciences (COHSMAS), Irebami Soyinka, has completed his doctorate degree in Mass Communication at the Lagos State University, Lagos State. 

The Communicator learnt earlier today that scores of members of staff and students in the University have started congratulating him on the staff official WhatsApp platform. 

The young scholar who is a broadcast major and has published academic papers in journals of high repute across some other genre of Mass Communication. 

The head, Department of Mass Communication, (COHSMAS), Dr. Buhari Rasheed, described him as a serious-minded scholar who has continued to shape the lives of students and professionals in the field of Mass Communication. 

“Mr. Soyinka is a man of great ideas, always adding value to the lives of students. His presence and contributions are always indispensable. I am personally very proud of him”, the HOD stated. 

Mr. Soyinka who is well respected at the Department of Mass Communication through his hard work and dedication to his work can now be deservedly called Dr. Irebami Soyinka

The Communicator exclusively learnt many members of staff have also congratulated him.

Scores of students of Mass Communication have also sent congratulatory greeting to Mr. Soyinka who is well respected at the Department.
