According to Dr. Ajibade, the nation would continue to suffer greatly unless the government is changing its approach to the fight against corruption. On his part, Dr. Sowale however kicked noting that corruption was not exclusive to Nigeria alone. “Some American politicians and institutions are more corrupt. The scale of corruptions in some of these western nations are more damning than we can imagine”, Dr. Sowale stressed enthusiastically.

Exams: Presidents begin campaigns against misconducts

300 Level Mass Communication
Th e Coalition of Presidents of Student Associations in McPherson University, Ogun
State, yesterday staged a walk against examination misconducts on Campus.
The Communicator gathered that
the move was part of the series of
initiatives aimed at discouraging
misconducts during the 2023/24
First Semester Examinations
which is scheduled to commence
on Monday.
The Presidents of Mass
Communication Students
Association (MACSA), Miss.
Ibukunoluwa George, as well
as her counterpart from the
International Relations
Students Association (IRSA),
Miss Deborah Akintola,
among others were seen
dancing and educating passers-by on the dangers of misconduct and the need to shun
all forms of ill-acts inimical to
their academic development.
Reacting to the campaign, the
Ag. Dean, Student Affairs, Dr,
Sunday Omeike and the Student
Affairs Officer, Mr. Daniel
Uwelu, in separate chats, told our
correspondents that the Association Presidents have the
support of the Directorate for the
advocacy.
It is expected that the students in
general would heed the interventions of their colleagues
who have taking a stand against
misconducts.
