McPherson University begins construction of Multipurpose Hall

In McPherson University, Seriki Sotayo, something remarkable unfolded on Tuesday, February 6, 2024. It was a day earmarked for celebrations as the groundbreaking ceremony for the grand 4500-capacity University Multipurpose Hall took place. The atmosphere buzzed with excitement and anticipation as esteemed figures gathered for this momentous occasion. 

Leading the proceedings was none other than the Vice-chancellor himself, Prof. Francis Igbasan. Alongside him stood pillars of the university community, including the Deputy Vice-chancellor, Prof. Olatunji Okesola, and other key figures like the Ag. Registrar, Mr. Olufemi Adebowale, and the Ag. Bursar, Mr. Ademola Osanyinro. Each person present held a vital role in shaping the university's future. As the ceremony unfolded, prayers echoed through the air, offered in gratitude for the anonymous donor whose generosity made this project possible. 

There were heartfelt pleas for the project's swift completion, praying earnestly for the safety of all workers involved. The unity and faith within the university community were palpable as they sought God's abundant grace and favor to continue guiding them on their journey of growth and expansion. Amidst the speeches and prayers, one figure stood out—the Project Architect, Arc. Titilayo Keku. With plans and blueprints in hand, Arc. Keku symbolized the vision and dedication behind this ambitious undertaking.

 Their presence reminded everyone of the intricate planning and meticulous attention to detail required to bring such a monumental project to fruition. As the ceremony drew to a close, a sense of optimism filled the air. The groundbreaking of the University Multipurpose Hall marked not just the beginning of construction but the dawn of a new chapter for McPherson University. With unity, faith, and determination, the university community stood ready to embrace the challenges and opportunities that lay ahead, knowing that together, they could achieve greatness.
