Photo Credit: Beloved S ome students of the Department of Computer Science, College of Computing, McPherson University, Ogun State, Nigeria, have expressed their decisions to shun this year’s Valentine Day celebration! Valentine’s day is celebrated globally every February 14 and is popularly referred to as the lover’s day! The trio of Oladapo Olamiji, Muritala Oladele Sultan and Charles Aludo (Computer Science students) told our correspondent earlier today that they would not be celebrating ‘Valentine’, which is less than a month. Charles specifically said his desire to hit 5.00 CGPA in the 2023/24 first semester examination is more important than anything at the moment. The other two students who shared similar sentiments also stressed that examinations would be rife during the period, and it would be unwise to have divided attention. Similarly, a 300 level of the same College, Okereke Emmanuel, was also strongly against Valentine's Day celebrat
