By Timothy Sogaolu 3 00 L evel, Mass Communication Dr. Akinrinola Dr. Temidayo Akinrinola, the Head of the English Department, has advocated for a transformative shift in the relationship between lecturers and students, particularly during project supervision.  He made this known while speaking during a research seminar hosted by the Department of Mass Communication at the University's conference room on Tuesday, 16th January 2024. Dr. Akinrinola emphasized the need for a change in the disposition of lecturers towards their students during project writing. His key message resonated with the seminar attendees, urging supervisors to adopt a supportive and guiding role rather than one rooted in exploitation. "Supervising students during their projects is an opportunity for mentorship and empowerment.
